Carsten leads the DACH region with responsibility for Bridgepoint’s Investment activities in Germany and German speaking Europe (DACH). He joined the Firm in 2019 after working for almost 30 years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
Carsten currently sits on the board of PharmaZell.
Prior to joining Bridgepoint, Carsten led BCG in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe through the last 6 years and was a member of BCG’s management team in Europe.
Working in BCG since 1990, Carsten has operated with clients in several industries, including: airline and automotive, building and construction, energy, consumer and industrial goods, MedTech and Telco. During recent years, coverage has been within private equity firms, family businesses and the public sector, centring on strategy development, M&A/PMI, operational efficiency improvement, organisational development and digital transformation.
He is President of the Senckenberg Natural Research Society and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Carsten is also a Member of the Honorary Board of the initiative „JOBLINGE”, which helps unemployed young people and young refugees integrate into the labour market.
Carsten studied Industrial Engineering at TU Darmstadt, Germany. He is fluent in English, Italian and French.
Luc is Chief Executive Officer of Alpha. Previously, Luc was Global Head of Asset & Wealth Management Consulting from 2020 to 2023, Head of Asset & Wealth Management Consulting – Europe from 2015 to 2020, and Head of Asset & Wealth Management Consulting – France from 2010 to 2015. Prior to joining Alpha, Luc was Head of Change Management of UBS Wealth Management in France and began his career as a consultant in Paris and London. He holds a Master Degree in Engineering from Ecole Centrale and completed an Executive Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Charles is a Partner in London and joined Bridgepoint in 2012. He is Head of the Business & Financial Services sector team.
Since joining Bridgepoint, Charles has worked on 12 platform investments including Alpha FMC, PEI, MiQ, Fishawack, Qualitest, Element and Zenith and was involved in the portfolio management and exits of Quilter Cheviot, LGC and 1st Credit. He currently sits on the Boards of Alpha FMC, MiQ and PEI.
Prior to joining Bridgepoint, Charles worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions team at both J.P. Morgan Cazenove and J.P. Morgan.
Charles has a degree in Economics from Durham University and is a Trustee of 52 Lives.
Davina joined Bridgepoint in 2016 and is an Investment Director in London and a member of the Business & Financial Services sector team.
Since joining Bridgepoint, Davina has worked on transactions within the consumer and business services sectors, including the acquisition of Burger King, the take private of Exova (now part of Element Materials Technology) and the sale of Estera.
Prior to joining Bridgepoint, she worked as an equity research analyst at Deutsche Bank covering the European Business Services sector, with responsibility for investment recommendations on companies across FM, distribution, security services and equipment hire. Davina also worked within private equity advisory and capital raising at Mercury Capital Advisors in London and New York.
She holds an MBA from London Business School and a degree from Oxford University in Ancient & Modern History.
Ian is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Board member at Alpha. He joined Alpha in 2025 and is based in London, UK.
Ian previously spent 25+ years at the Boston Consulting Group, advising CEOs and senior executives of financial institutions on strategic, organisational, digital and operational matters, whilst holding multiple internal commercial and operational leadership roles. He has worked with 100+ client organisations in 35+ countries around the world. At Alpha, he collaborates with the CEO, CFO and business leaders on driving commercial performance, overseeing M&A activity, strengthening business operations and delivering our value creation plan.
Ian has Barrister-at-Law, Masters in Finance and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from Ireland. He is also the Chairperson of The Sutton Trust, the UK’s leading social mobility charity. He’s married to Beth from LA, with two teenage children and many pets.
Jan is Chief Financial Officer and a Board member at Alpha. He joined Alpha in 2025 and is based in the UK.
Jan has extensive experience as a CFO at Board level, including organisations as diverse as the sports league Premiership Rugby, the law firm Ashurst and the multichannel broadcaster UKTV. His focus is on effective collaboration with the CEO, COO and the wider executive teams to drive top and bottom-line value, and leading a finance team that is well integrated with the rest of the organisation, comprising both technical and business partnering capabilities.
A Dutch/British national, Jan holds an MBA from Insead and a BA (Hons) in Economics from Cambridge University.
