The Platforms Association presents the 2026 Operational Resilience Survey

The Platforms Association has once again partnered with Alpha FMC this year to explore the key operational resilience challenges facing the UK investment platforms sector. This survey is sponsored by the Platforms Association’s Operational Resilience Workstream and has been designed in alignment with the priorities, scope and outcomes defined by the Workstream. This year’s survey builds on previous insights gathered from the Davies Survey, with an expanded focus on Operational Resilience, reflecting both the Workstream’s agreed areas of focus and evolving FCA and PRA expectations.

 

In collaboration with Alpha FMC, the Platforms Association is conducting this survey to capture industry benchmarks, emerging practices and areas of challenge across:

  • Third‑party risk management
  • Incident management and communications
  • Regulatory change and emerging resilience challenges
  • Operational Resilience integration into the wider Risk Management landscape
 
 
The findings will inform the 2026 Operational Resilience State of the Nation report, providing a comprehensive, sector‑specific view of how platforms are implementing Operational Resilience, with illustrative Operating Model examples. By participating, members will gain access to practical, data‑driven insights to help benchmark their organisation against peers, inform investment decisions and strengthen resilience capabilities. Survey participants will be offered an optional individual debrief session with Alpha FMC, providing a tailored walkthrough of their results, key benchmarking insights and practical considerations relative to peers.

The survey is designed to be completed by your firm's Chief Operating Officer / SMF 24, or an appropriate senior delegate and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. The deadline for responses is Friday, 19th June
