The Platforms Association has once again partnered with Alpha FMC, this year to explore the key operational resilience challenges facing the UK investment platforms sector. This year’s survey builds on previous insights gathered from the Davies Survey, with an expanded focus on Operational Resilience in line with evolving FCA and PRA expectations.
In collaboration with Alpha FMC, the Platforms Association is conducting this survey to capture industry benchmarks, emerging practices and areas of challenge across:

  • Third‑party risk management
  • Incident management and communications
  • Regulatory change and emerging resilience challenges
The findings will inform the 2026 Operational Resilience State of the Nation report, providing a comprehensive, sector‑specific view of how platforms are implementing Operational Resilience, with illustrative Operating Model examples. By participating, members will gain access to practical, data‑driven insights to help benchmark their organisation against peers, inform investment decisions and strengthen resilience capabilities.
Participants may complete the survey in one sitting or create an account to save progress. This is a quick and straightforward process:

  1.  Once your account is set up, return to this page and click “Start Survey Now” to begin.
If you create an account, your data will be managed in line with the Privacy Policy, which you will be asked to agree to during sign‑up.
The survey is designed to be completed by your firm's Chief Operating Officer / SMF 24, or an appropriate senior delegate and takes approximately one hour to complete.
The deadline for responses is Friday, 19th June
