A private equity firm focusing on investments ranging from $100 million to $500 million in high-growth companies across sectors such as software, financial services, healthcare, consumer, and business services required an upgrade to their Investor Portal. The firm needed to efficiently manage, distribute, and report on investor data across current and historical funds to support its growth and long-term partnership strategy.
Approach
The firm engaged Alpha Alternatives to migrate their Investor Portal and CRM data from Allvue to eFront’s Investment Café platform. This involved updating and migrating investor records for current funds, older funds’ investor information (including addresses and wire details), and contact records for all investors. Additionally, the project included creating linkages between investor accounts and associated contacts and roles. Alpha also supported the client in dashboard configurations, document migration, and establishing a security matrix to ensure proper access controls.
