Case Study
A global asset servicer needed to modernize its fund accounting infrastructure across Singapore and Hong Kong, replacing a legacy platform burdened with heavy operational debt. A fixed regulatory deadline compressed the delivery window, requiring disciplined program governance across a highly interdependent system landscape spanning fund administration, transfer agency and custody.

Alpha joined an in-flight program, rapidly establishing governance frameworks, decision-making structures and escalation pathways from workstream level through to SteerCo. Using proprietary migration frameworks and program accelerators, the team designed end-to-end migration plans with structured tollgates, go/no-go decision frameworks and command center models to manage live batch delivery. Alpha embedded a consistent delivery cadence across all workstreams, including a structured lessons learned process to improve future batches. The team drew on deep securities services expertise across APAC to navigate a complex, diverse book of business spanning Traditional Funds, ETFs, ORSO and MPF. Alpha successfully migrated the full fund accounting book of business within the required timeframe, protecting service continuity and SLA commitments throughout.
The full fund accounting book of business for Singapore and Hong Kong was migrated within the required timeframe. Structured tollgates and runbooks coordinated delivery across multiple internal teams.
SLA commitments and reporting accuracy were maintained without disruption to NAV production or client reporting. Client experience was safeguarded across every migration batch.
Bespoke processes and manual overhead were removed by standardizing client offerings. This reduced operational debt and created a more scalable operating model for the business.
