Client Challenges

A US firm (nearly $1trn AUM) was transitioning from a US intermediary specialist to a global, multi-channel asset manager. Legacy data structures divided by investment vehicle created a disjointed client experience and restricted scalability. A unified, enterprise-wide view of client data was critical to support this ambition.

alpha approach

Alpha defined the strategy and vision for the distribution function, identifying client data management as the priority capability gap. Alpha then led the detailed design of a client master, specifying the data model, business rules and processes required across the enterprise. Following design, Alpha supported development and implementation on the firm’s selected MDM and data management architecture. The solution integrated with the CRM and other critical business applications, enabling consistent data across sales, marketing, client service, operations and compliance. The platform established the foundation for the firm to operate as a scalable, data-driven global distributor.
