About John Hennessey

Before joining Alpha, John worked in industry for nearly 30 years, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of the Client Group at Schroders. During his career, he has held senior roles across the Financial Services sector, where he led large-scale transformation and operational initiatives. John’s key areas of expertise include the development and deployment of change frameworks and capabilities, effective change delivery through business sponsorship and engagement, and Target Operating Model development. He has also led the design and implementation of client group platforms and ecosystems, with a focus on enhancing sales effectiveness and using data science and analytics to drive performance across sales, client service, marketing and product functions. John studied Engineering at Cambridge University and began his career in the British Army, serving for 10 years as an officer before transitioning into the Financial Services industry.
