Alpha today announces a further strengthening of its wealth management practice, comprising a team of nine in the UK.
Alpha provides services to many Wealth Management clients across Europe and the continued strong growth of the sector has prompted the firm to commit extra senior experience to the team. Wealth Managers have fared well in the UK following the shake up from the Retail Distribution Review, and with that success the need to strengthen their infrastructure, respond to increasing regulatory scrutiny and invest in new technologies are all business imperatives. Alpha has strong service offerings in these disciplines and Kenn’s appointment will further enhance its reputation in the sector.
Kenn has over fifteen years’ experience leading consulting teams at Grant Thornton, Navigant and Troika in the Retail Investment, Retirement and Wealth markets. He has led critical assignments for the leading UK Wealth and Asset Managers, Retail and Workplace Platforms. His experience has covered business and markets strategy, particularly proposition development, platform assessment and selection, operating models, business case development and deal negotiations.
Commenting on this new hire, Alpha FMC Global CEO Euan Fraser:
“Our wealth practice has been steadily growing over the past few years and we’re delighted to welcome Kenn to the team to accelerate this trend. Our strong experience in all aspects of the investments value chain is increasingly in demand from Wealth Managers and this hire reflects our commitment to the sector”
Kenn Taylor, Head of Wealth at Alpha FMC:
“Firms involved in the wealth management business are in the forefront of responding to increasing customer, adviser and regulatory expectation with innovative strategies and adoption of new technologies. I know from experience they value dedicated sector support and I am looking forward to working with the experienced team at Alpha to help address those opportunities and challenges.’’
