The client had an in-house platform for European fund accounting and regulatory reporting, which was originally built and installed over 20 years ago. This operating model was unsustainable, as the legacy platform needed complex maintenance and development to support their growing business needs.
The client wanted to define a new target operating model for fund accounting and regulatory reporting, with specific context from the current TPA and vendor landscape.
- Alpha ran a 12 week evaluation of the TPA and vendor landscape, including a full RFI process, and developed target operating model recommendations and a shortlist of potential providers
- Our industry knowledge assisted the client in defining and agreeing the most appropriate shortlisted TPA and vendor providers for them to engage. We then conducted the full RFI process
- Using Alpha’s extensive proprietary benchmarking and tariff data, we could rigorously assess all TPA and vendor proposals and cost models, against our own data and industry knowledge
A broad overview of the market place was imparted to the client, and a clear steer on which providers were best placed to support them.
The client was able to confidently decide on a strategic operating model to select, as it was reinforced by Alpha’s independent evaluation of the providers, and of their proposed cost models.
