Evaluation, selection, implementation and post go-live support of a new Portfolio and Order Management System
The client’s distribution operating model, architecture and platform had become complex, inefficient and costly, carrying significant operational risk. The client took the decision to refresh its operating model and, having defined a target state for select key distribution processes, engaged Alpha to translate aspirational business processes into the necessary pre-requisites for a re-implementation of the Salesforce platform.
- Alpha led the establishment of the program, defining the overall governance structure, reporting, control functions, and phase definition
- Alpha socialised our Domain Model accelerator for Asset Management with key business stakeholders across Distribution, Technology and Enterprise Architecture, addressing and resolving global and local challenges with current state processes and technology
- Alpha also developed a Target State Architecture and Implementation Approach, and were subsequently selected as the implementation partner for the next phase
The client benefitted from high levels of stakeholder engagement as the detail of their target state distribution processes was understood, analysed and presented back, and a clear, best practice path to implementation designed.
