Evaluation, selection, implementation and post go-live support of a new Portfolio and Order Management System
Our client had agreed in principle to acquire a book of loans from a large bank but lacked a project plan to complete the transaction and sign the Sales and Purchase Agreement. Alpha had run the RFP process on behalf of the client to help select an outsourced Loan Service Provider.
The client required strong project management to ensure all activities were completed in a prescribed timeframe for all parties involved.
- Alpha worked with the client to establish clear project governance and an integrated project plan across all workstreams to ensure the acquisition was completed as per the agreed timeframe
- Alpha also identified the key activities required for transaction completion, whilst establishing and tracking the dependences across workstreams and hence the ‘critical path’ to completion
- We also worked with the client’s selected loan service provider to negotiate the required service provisions and establish the plan for operational readiness that aligned with deal settlement
From the establishment of clear project governance and management of an integrated project plan, the client was able to complete all requirements necessary to sign the Sales and Purchase Agreement and settle the transaction.
The client was able to agree in principle all the commercial and legal terms to sign the Loan Servicing Agreement.
