A strategic review of the current dealing operating model had shown that our client’s existing Front Office system architecture and processes would present challenges for its strategic growth aims. Our client wished to implement a Portfolio and Order Management System across the business
- Alpha used industry knowledge to identify potential software solutions, assessed them against client requirements through an RFP and product demonstration process, and provided a business case to assess the commercial impact of each of the different software options
- Alpha supported the client in designing its new operating model across all investment desks, delivering detailed business requirements to the software vendor, and managed the planning and execution of the system testing, parallel run, and go-live processes
- Alpha also helped the client set up a new oversight and governance structure with the software vendor, closing out remaining post go-live implementation tasks and new defects
Our client was able to easily compare several systems and identify those which provided the best fit for their business requirements, whilst Alpha’s dedicated implementation team allowed our client to focus on their everyday BAU activities.
