Evaluation, selection, implementation and post go-live support of a new Portfolio and Order Management System
Our client’s pipeline for on-boarding new clients was full after a series of outsourced service delivery wins. The permanent staff had hit full capacity.
They won another new client contract to supply investment operations, fund accounting and custody services for a large UK based asset manager, who had recently acquired a boutique hedge fund that wasn’t yet fully integrated into the standard operating model. In addition, A large number of OTC holdings at the new client required a liability driven investment (LDI) solution.
- Alpha mobilised a team to manage the investment operations workstream, as part of a wider programme
- We led a number of sub workstreams including solution design, build, test, transition & operational readiness
- The Alpha team also had responsibility for the definition of > 100 bespoke reports which needed to be developed in parallel with their standard offering, the business analysis team was provided by our partner contracting company Omega
Alpha implemented a strong governance structure which allowed issues to be escalated as appropriate and ensured a smooth programme.
The client was also able to successfully run multiple programmes in parallel.
