Tim Trotter is the Chairman of Alpha Financial Markets Consulting. He has over 30 years’ experience in financial and corporate public relations and investor relations. He is currently also Chairman of Glenfern, Nigel Wright and Seven Publishing. Prior to this, he was the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Ludgate Group and in 1997 led its sale to Interpublic. He is a Senior Adviser to Evercore and is one of the co-founders of Citywire, the financial publishing company.
Nick is the Vice Chairman of the Alpha Board of Directors. Previously Nick was a Senior Partner at Accenture where he ran the Asset Management practice.
Nick has over 25 years of experience consulting across all aspects of asset management business with particular emphasis around addressing complex operations and IT issues. Nick has also worked extensively internationally including the US, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Euan is the Global Chief Executive Officer of Alpha and joined in October 2004. Before joining Alpha, Euan was a Director at Synagir management consultancy with responsibility for asset management. Euan has several years financial services experience with Merrill Lynch and KPMG. Euan is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of Edinburgh University.
Nick is the Global Chief Commercial Officer of Alpha and a member of the Board of Directors. Before co-founding Alpha, Nick was a senior member of Accenture’s Financial Services strategy practice. He is well known in the market for particular expertise in outsourcing, complex operational change, M&A and product development and advises Management Boards across Europe.
Nick holds a double starred first in Experimental Psychology from Cambridge University.
Mark Ligertwood represents Dunedin on the Board of Alpha. Mark was a key member of the fundraising team that raised the £300m Dunedin Buyout Fund III in 2013.
Mark has an honours graduate in business management from Newcastle University and qualified as a chartered accountant at Ernst & Young, working in corporate finance.
Andrew Davidson represents Dunedin on the Board of Alpha. Andrew joined Dunedin in 2013, and is part of Dunedin's investment team which sources and transacts deals across the UK.
Andrew graduated from Cambridge with a BA in Philosophy. After graduating he worked in the Business Recovery Services department of PwC, where he qualified as a chartered accountant, working across a variety sectors. He also went on secondment in HSBC’s Loan Management Unit.
Ken Fry joined the Alpha FMC Board as a Non-Executive Director after eight years as Global Chief Operating Officer at Aberdeen Asset Management.
Ken has over 27 years’ experience in financial services and has considerable experience of integrating acquisitions within the investment management sector. He has a strong technology and operations background and has undertaken a number of large transformational projects during his career. In addition, he has served on company and fund boards, and been a key player in strategic and executive decision making forums.
